We don't really have to put any thoughts or effort into brushing our teeth, driving a vehicle or eating lunch. Unfortunately, it's the same with negative and limiting habits, beliefs and thoughts which influence our life on a daily basis. That's why it's often hard to create lasting change: You might know the feeling of having the best intentions after reading an inspirational book or having an empowering conversation with a friend. But too often we just slide back into old habits because our conscious mind can't maintain those new healthy habits and beliefs. In clinical Hypnotherapy we are able to communicate directly with the subconscious mind where all beliefs and memories are stored since we were in our mother's womb. This is where real, lasting change can take place.

Modern neuroscience based research has demonstrated that the brain continues to create new neural pathways and alters existing ones. During hypnosis we're able to access our neural networks, and let the subconscious know that we don't need a particular habit or belief anymore.

Custom Hypnosis Recordings 

Custom Hypnosis recordings are a powerful tool to change thoughts and beliefs that are stored in the subconscious mind. Any behaviours and feelings that were created through past experiences but aren’t serving you anymore today, can be released and replaced with empowering messages. Through continuous listening of your recording, you can create neural pathways in your brain with new, positive beliefs which will lead to creating new habits.

Anxiety Support 

There continues to be an incline of anxiety in recent years in all age groups. Many people suffer from mild to severe anxiety symptoms for a long time before reaching out for help. I have suffered with a variety of anxiety symptoms for many years, and have combined my professional knowledge of Yoga, Meditation and Clinical Hypnotherapy, with my personal experience of using those tools to overcome this challenging condition. I have created a holistic program for everyone (youth and adults) who struggles with mild to severe anxiety symptoms. 

​

Why does it work?  Rather than just treating the symptom, we take a close look at all lifestyle factors and past experiences that might contribute to feelings of anxiety. We explore every aspect of your daily activities and routines, sleeping patterns, nutrition and other lifestyle choices that have an impact on the physical and emotional well being.  

​

This program includes two Custom Hypnotherapy Sessions, one Somatic Stress/ Trauma Release Session, and a custom toolkit to balance the nervous system. Sessions run typically between 1.5 to 1.45 hours.

Therapeutic Yoga: We're holding stress and trauma in the body like the best-selling author Bessel van der Kolk explains in his book “The body keeps the score”. Therapeutic Yoga is an excellent tool to release some of this tension that has often built up over many years or decades. Through mindful breathing and a sequence of postures especially chosen for your needs, you can support your body to feel healthier and more at ease. It can also help to prevent further weakening of the body and create an overall feeling of wellness and vibrancy. 

 

Therapeutic Yoga and breathwork also offers great support through emotional or mental challenges like anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue and more. It's a mind-body practice that allows us to heal on a deep cellular level. A typical custom Meditation or Yoga session with me runs 1.5 to 1.45 hours.

Somatic Release  

We all accumulate many small and large stressors over the years that we store in different areas of the body. Every day issues like a difficult work situation or someone cutting us off in traffic, as well as larger traumas that become encoded on a cellular level. This leads to dysregulation of the nervous system and can often build over the years to symptoms of physical, emotional and mental discomfort. For many people this can manifest as mild to severe anxiety symptoms, a lack of energy, struggle to focus, not being able to relax, a lack of joy or excitement, insomnia, back/ hip pain and more. 

 

Somatic Release can help to let go of these emotions that are trapped in our body, helping us to feel more balanced and at ease. I guide you in a typical Somatic Release Session through a sequence of movements which ends in a resting position. Here you will experience for about 15 minutes the physical release of tension from the body, especially from the Psoas muscle.
